Eau Potable
Free sparkling water, anyone? That's what you'll now find flowing out of a public drinking fountain in Paris' Jardin de Reuilly. Eau de Paris, the city's water company installed a machine that takes regular eau from the tap, makes it "gazeuse," and then dispenses it to the bubbly-loving public. It's just the most recent in a long line of attempts to get Parisians to give up their cherished bottled water and start reaching for the tap instead. Bottoms up!

REALLY?? I didn't know about that! I love sparkling water! I'll have to go check it out.. la honte I don't even know where that garden is..
Eau de Paris has been doing a lot of outreach lately. This summer they had public fountains outside of l'Hotel de Ville and a "water happy hour" every evening where they would give out free water with a different flavour of syrup! before that, they were giving out free glass pitchers for people to take home (I have one, they're really cute too!)
Just plain water though, this sparkling fountain sounds really cool!
That's a great idea! I'm also guilty of buying a bottle of water once in a while, usually because I'm thirsty and there is no fountain around. At home, I drink tap water, it tastes just fine.
Sounds a great idea. I was reading that bottled water can actually be bad for you anyway as the chemicals from the bottle can end up in the water. Luckily here in Yorkshire (UK) the tap water is excellent.
