Let it Snow

Airport cancellations, slippery roads, unshoveled sidewalks. Brussels obviously doesn't know how to deal with a little snowstorm. Thankfully, my sister arrived just before the skies opened up, so we spent the day nice and warm in my apartment, catching up over cups of tea and away from the madness. Later in the afternoon we ventured out on foot to enjoy the beauty of a European city under a blanket of snow.

Gorgeous! Just be glad you're missing the thunder snow in DC. That's right, they're calling for storms of snow AND thunder on Saturday. At least we have years of Midwestern winters under our belts!

Looking just like DC right about now! :)

How much snow did you actually have?

It makes me smile because from the French newspaper I'm reading, it's like the end of the world. Er... we routinely have major storm with 20 cm of snow, like ten days ago.

NE USA has it bad right now too, I've heard most of the flights were canceled.

@Zhu, a couple of inches and counting, but Brussels doesn't know what to do with the snow, so it just sits on the road and messes everything up. The need a lesson from the Canadians or the Minnesotans!

Almost got stuck in Amsterdam today because of the weather. Travel in Europe is totally meessed up.

My mom from Italy told me that there is the same, actually it is almost two days that is snowing non stop.
However, here in Australia we do not have that problems..
